My money is on the humans, at least for this first run through. I think the range of questions is too wide for a computer to interpret enough of them. But I'm still very excited about this. Remember what a huge breakthrough it was when a computer beat Garry Kasparov in a game of chess? Imagine the headlines when a computer can beat humans at Jeopardy. Now imagine where we will be in only a couple of years when that kind of power is built into a standard desktop computer, with all of them interacting and collaborating over the internet to solve new problems. I think it is all very exciting, and I can't wait to see this game.

I would be extremely interested in viewing the program JEOPARDY - when the competition is to take place,( ie, date -time etc.)Is thre any way that I could be notified as to exactly when this might happen so that I may be able to view it ? I would thank you kindly if there were some way somebody could send me an email at the appropiate time.
