Sorry not buying much of this article. The product quality issues in China are real and that is about it. Transportation costs are not increasing, they are decreasing currently so that makes shipping costs from China very attractive right now. The fact that China will surpass Germany in exports this year or next is true only in US$. Only true since a BMW costs more than a shirt. China exports more actual items than anyone in the world period.
In these down times with people out of work cheap Chinese goods are more appealing because people still need shirts, pants, shoes, etc.
Surveys of what companies say they will do are not facts, find some accurate facts next time.
The fact is that that this article reported the results of a survey is a fact!!
