"Watching a suit go down in flames is entertainment for geek"
You should see the way we train our H-1B replacement workers! Most of them are new to IT work and have "embellished" their resumes.
I spent three years building this network from the ground up, sacrificing almost every weekend, no vacations little sleep, constant learning only to be told to train my replacement.
I gave him all the knowledge he needed to ruin the network and laughed when I heard about the disaster that followed.
The company that laid me off spent 1.4 million fixing the problems caused by this one guy and I didn't do anything.
Next time it will be worse. Times have changed and I no longer care about the professional ethic I once held so dear. I will GLADLY go to jail to screw over the TREASONOUS companies that use the H-1B replacement worker program. I'm an American and opposing injustice is what we do best.
I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg. Us geeks"insulting isn't it?" have a lot more power than your lawyers.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
