I just tried to get the "Weather Push" for my Blackberry 8830 and it's no longer available. Is your link correct?

Check out weathereye - better than the weather push because it updates frequently. Still simple and puts the icon on the home screen.

Unfortunately, Tellme 2.0 with voice only works on RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100, Curve 8310, 8800, 8820 and 8830 devices, from AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.

If you're looking for a more expansive list manager than just the Tasks List that comes with the Blackberry OS check out MaraTick. It allows the creation of multiple lists which means you can have a grocery shopping list, a list planning a work project, a Christmas shopping list, etc. all in one location. It tracks progress, allows for amounts and measures to be entered, allows sorting of lists alphabetically or manually. It's very handy for anyone who keeps several lists running at a time.

Anyone know these apps work over WiFi, or they only work on the EDGE network (since there is no 3G BB yet)??
I found most of the apps only work over the mobile EDGE network and it is slow and costly.
There should be an option to use WiFi connection when it is available.

Those of us unlike u who have BBries are not neophytes who lack the need for functionality. On the contrary we appreciate functionality; which is why we chose NOT to go with Windows Mobile.
