Please remove the word God from the title. 99% of the CERN scientists don't believe in such God or similar fables - they believe in doing science .
Please replace the username "Anonymous" in the first comment with "God" as only God can know the beliefs of 99% of the CERN scientists
Please remove the "J" from the previous posters name to reveal the distinguishing attribute of the poster. Actually, I (God) am not the only being capable of knowing this: a simple survey is enough to find out. In a recent survey, 85% of the members of the (US) National Academy of Sciences rejected God (me). And that's from a country that is overwhelmingly religious when compared to
Europe. I (God) actually don't have a clue what percentage of CERN scientists don't believe in me (I'm not all I'm cracked up to be), but I suspect 99% isn't too far off the mark.
I agree with the sentiments of the "Anonymous" poster. The title (deliberately?) portrays the serious scientific endeavors of the CERN scientists with a confirmation of the "God hypothesis". Paul Davies and his ilk have a lot to answer for. Another writer aiming for a Templeton prize?? Please take down this outrageous article.
Its just amazing how those that claim that religious content in articles like this is infringing on their rights always demand to have it taken out. In that very action of demanding to have things made anti-God, they are pushing their own beliefs back on the religious people. I'm just glad that the internet is free enough of such restrictions that people can still say what they want to say, and not worry about being sued because some anti-God fanatic wants to push his own views on everyone else.
If 99% don't believe in God or any such fables, that means there must be at least TEN of them that do! Please out them so that we can eliminate them. We must keep science pure and of one mind. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention.
How about you all realize that one of CERN's tasks is to find the Higgs boson, which is lovingly referred to as the "God Particle"
The author is just trying to put an extra cute spin in the title. I swear: you atheists are just as touchy and "devout" as the religious about this stuff.
Wow!!! This just in... [mp3 sound of defunct IBM selectric typewriter head]
After CERN finds "God" they plan to launch an even more ambitious project in search or Santa and the Easter Bunny...
...Wait, this just in... "Scientists" at the Creationist museum have discovered a link between tetryons and that dust in Tinkerbell's wake.
Did you know that 78% of all statistics are made up on the spot?
How about commenting on the actual article instead of whining about your beliefs ? Go humans!!
