Interesting to see that 30 companies cover the whole gamut of needs, however in the article you don't see a checklist or definition of what makes up the total telecom expense management company.
I agree wholeheartedly with the original comment. Moreso there are about 50 companies providing branded TEM tools. By that I mean an aplication that can be set up in eithe the custromer or vendor's environment.
There are probably another 50 companies which have built their own automated tools for managed services and that includes Profitline and ControlPoint Solutions as well as Telwares (nee Vercuity).
There are another 300+ firms which help clients reduce telecom expense by providing auditing and contract negotiation services on a short term or recurring basis.
